French Country

It is so nice to be back home and working with Thelma again!  I named my longarm machine after my Grandma and this is how my husband and girls refer to it when I am up in my sewing studio working.  My oldest told me a while ago that I was spending too much time with Thelma.  I knew then I had to watch my time.  :)

Anyway, take a look at this beautiful French Country quilt that Debra made for her Mom.  Aren't the colors wonderful?!  She did a great job!  Hope you like the way it turned out.

  1. I love your treatment of my mom's quilt, Richla! As you know, I struggled with feeling there was too much busy-ness in the quilt top, but your quilting brought it all together, pulling out the treasures that were overlooked, and tempering the "LOOK AT ME" redwork. I'm so glad you enjoyed working on it, and I found the perfect blue for the binding.
