Stunning Quilt by Patty

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great Monday!  Here is a beautiful quilt that Patty made.  I believe it is going to be hanging in the Stray Threads Quilt Show coming up in April.  The applique is just wonderful.  Raw edge with a blanket stitch around it.  Nice work Patty!  And look at the spools in the middle.  Perfect!  We used an allover design in the middle called Spools of thread and needles.  I decided to use radiating lines outside the applique to help draw the eye out, but I think that I should have also put the lines inside the applique too.  What do you think?  We used a golden brown thread and cotton batting.  Hope you like it!!!
