Blessings of Spring finished!

Good Morning everyone!  It is a little crazy around here today. We have to be out of the house this week since the hardwoods are getting stained/finished.  We are staying 4 houses down the street at our in-laws house.  It sure is convenient but we still have to pack regardless.  A cat, a dog, 2 kids, a husband and me.  I've been working on laundry all morning long!  I can't wait to get my sewing studio back to normal - I have really missed my space.

I did manage to finish up Lyn's beautiful applique quilt and a quilt that she made for Camp Korey.  The applique quilt is a BOM from Shabby Fabrics (www.shabbyfabrics.com).  We used a design called Soft and Sweet Rose in the outer border, bo leaves in the small border and lots of treasures in the middle.  I love how the angel block turned out.  She is flying in the breeze watering her field of daisies.  Nice work Lyn!  You did a great job on this one!!!

On the Camp Korey quilt, I used a dark red thread, loops and swirls allover and cotton batting.  I love all the fun fabrics in this one.

Have a great day!  I'll post the winner of the fat quarter giveaway tomorrow.  Take care and Happy "Kwilting!"  Richla
