A productive weekend...

As you all know, we are entering the super busy season for "kwilting" since Christmas will be here before you know it.  I am going to do my best to take care of all of the fabulous quilts that come through my door.  I had a window to work this weekend and I decided to go for it. Of course, they were the edge to edge quilts because I had alot going on this weekend, but I managed to get 4 quilts done - yeah!

I finished up 2 more quilts for Mary.  She made these quilts for a friend who is having a craft show coming up.  The first one is another cute dog quilt.  We used a design allover called Paws with black thread and wool batting. The other one is an adorable cat quilt.  We used a design allover called Heart Throb with green thread and wool batting.  I love the fabrics in this one.

The third one is by Charlotte.  She used up a whole bunch of her Christmas scraps to make this cute quilt.  We used a design allover called Christmas Paisley with a variegated light blue thread and cotton batting.  And last but not least, the last quilt is a quilt made by Kristie's 80+ year old Mom who fell in love with quilting just a short time ago.  We used a design allover Peacock with cream thread and cotton batting.  I just have to sew together the binding strips and sew it on the top and this one will be finished too.  Phew!  Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out!
