Mom of the year?

I don't think so, but perhaps I might be eligible for Mom of the weekend.... We have been non-stop since Friday.  Lots of volunteer work at the school on Friday and yesterday we started with a bday party at Pump it up from 10-12 then we went to another bday party at Chuck E Cheese from 12-2 only to get home for 30 minutes before we loaded up to go to the Fresh Beat Band concert up in Everett.  We got home around 8pm.  We were all exhausted but had a fun day.  I managed to clean up and store most of my Halloween decorations today and put out my Thanksgiving decorations.  I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving.  My favorite phrase these days:  "Where does the time go???"

Here are a couple more quilts I finished up last week.  The first one is by Connie.  Connie is in her 90's and I love to see the quilts she brings because she uses up a lot of fabric from her stash.  We used a design allover this one called Spilt Paint with cotton batting and a golden brown thread.  The second one was made by Jann and a few of her friends.  It is going to be a wedding present.  We used a design allover called Peacock with white thread and cotton batting.  Excellent piecing ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out.  Take care, Richla
