Charity day...

Good Morning everyone!  It's Friday - yeah!  I did some quilting for charity yesterday.  The first quilt is a quilt made by Lyn for Camp Korey.  Lyn used her own fabrics to make this adorable quilt and I donated the quilting, thread and batting.  I used a design allover called Loops and Swirls with a bright orange thread and warm and white batting.  Lyn did such a nice job on this - a lucky little boy or girl is going to get a super fun quilt this summer.

The second one was made by Charlene and a group of kids who have Epilepsy.  This quilt is going to auction to help the Epilepsy Foundation.  Susan at Gathering Fabric donated the fabric and a layer of Dream cotton batting.  Charlene and the kids made the beautiful quilt and I donated another layer of Dream cotton ( you should feel how soft this thing is), the quilting and thread.  I just have to get the binding on and Charlene can pick it up next week.  Take a close look at the blocks on this one - the kids did a great job.  I really enjoyed reading them.  I used a design allover called Heart Throb with white thread.

Have a great weekend!  I'm loading my Halloween quilt today - woohoo!  Hopefully I can get it done before Monday.  Take care, Richla
