Looks can be deceiving!

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a great day!  I finished up a few more quilts this week.  I think I have told you all before that I truly don't see quilts anymore unless I am behind the lens of a camera.  To give you an example, this first quilt here all I saw were the log cabin squares.  I had no idea that there was this huge diamond shape in the middle or repeating outwards.  How crazy and sad is that?

This first quilt was made by Susan.  Love the fabrics and love how surprised I was when I took a picture of it!  We used a design allover called Batik with a golden brown thread and cotton batting.  The second one is by Diane.  Look at all of the fun fabrics!  We used a design allover called Wild Mouse with a golden yellow thread and cotton batting.  Finally, I finished up a quilt made by Becky's 10 year old grand daughter.  She did a great job!  I quilted it pretty loosely so it would be soft and snuggly for her.  I used some groovy cars and daisies in the outer borders and some fun daisies with a cherry red thread in the middle.  Cotton batting is in the middle.

Nice work everyone!  Hope you like the way they turned out.  I am almost finished with Pam's Le Jardin quilt and will get pictures posted tomorrow.  Take care, Richla
