My baby turned 5 today!

Good evening everyone!  Life has gotten ridiculously busy since I last posted.  I got back from my Uncle's funeral a week from Saturday to arrive to a full house.  My two nieces and their Mom from Spain are visiting us until the end of May.  The Dad and the other two children arrive tomorrow so I will be going from a home of 4 to a home of 10.  Crazy!!!  The kids are 2 1/2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 12.  I'm going to have my hands full.  Wish me luck!

I did manage to finish up a couple more quilts - how, I have no idea, but here you go!  The first one is by Colleen.  This is a true king size quilt.  We used a design allover called The Garden with a sage green thread and wool batting.  The second one is by Lucy and she wanted it quilted the same way as I did mine last year.  We used a design allover called Rapunzel with a hot pink thread and then in the Dresden center block, I used white thread, swirls and curves around the Dresden to turn it into a flower.  2 layers of batting:  Dream cotton and Dream wool.  Love!

Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out.  Take care, Richla
By the way, have you clicked on the Bunny Hill blog on the right hand side of my blog?  OMG!  Check out the new holiday quilt and they are going to sell pre-printed templates for the applique shapes already printed out on heavy duty freezer paper.  Can't wait!
