A beautiful weekend!

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you are enjoying our fabulous sunshine!  Here are a few more quilts that I finished up last week.  They are as fabulous as our weather!

The first one is by Eileen.  Such a beautiful Autumn quilt.  I honestly feel this would have been one of the perfect applique quilts to do an allover design on.  The fabrics and the threads melded together so perfectly that a lot of the time I had a really hard time seeing where I had even quilted.  I used some traditional quilting on this one:  stippling, echoing and point to point curves.  A single layer of 80/20 blend in the middle and neutral thread.

The next 3 are by Lisa.  The first one is a cute table topper.  We used a design called Tapestry with neutral thread and 2 layers of warm and white.  The next one, I believe Lisa was going to throw away and it has turned out to be my favorite.  You see, Lisa is a perfectionist and to make a long story short she was not happy with how the blocks came together.  I think it is gorgeous!  We used a design allover called Frenzy with wool batting and look at that back!    The last one, we used a design allover called Aspen leaves with white thread and Dream orient batting in the middle. Super shaggy minky on the back so it is really soft!

Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out!  Have a great Sunday!  Richla
