Good Afternoon!  Hope you all had a great day!  Our dog Penny is very pregnant and is due tomorrow but still no sign of puppies.  I can't wait until she has them.  I have never whelped puppies before.... have you?

I finished quilting one of my quilts that was hanging in the closet.  It is a pattern by Anita at Bloomin Workshop called "Emma".  These are not the original fabrics but a kit that I found at Gathering fabric last year.  I liked the pink and the black so I picked it up.  I used 2 layers of batting:  A layer of 80/20 blend by Legacy and a layer of Dream wool.  I used a light khaki thread allover and black thread on the big black triangles.  I used a design in the outer border called Haven and I did swirls, marbles, flowers and cherries in the middle.  What do you think?  Do you see the cherries?   Take care, Richla
