Good evening! Hope you all had a great start to your week! Here are a couple more quilts I finished up. The first one here is by Pat. It is a beautiful Amish quilt but we did a modern twist with the quilting and used modern curves with a dark cherry thread and black batting. I really like how it turned out.
The second one is by me. I made it earlier this year. I used marbles in the cream background and then did lines and curves in the colored fabrics. 2 layers of cotton batting with neutral thread and chocolate thread. What do you think?
Remember, I am doing a giveaway. Just scroll to the post below to enter. Take care, Richla
I love your quilt! What size is it? Is it a wall quilt or a lap size?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
Thanks Christi! It is a small wall hanging. it measures 40 x 40 but my friend Anita made me the same version in EQ that measures 80 x 80. if you are interested, you can borrow the pattern. Let me know!

ReplyDeleteOh Richla - I love, love, LOVE your quilt! The fabric selection and the quilting give it a rich and modern flavor. It's perfect for late summer! Did you use a fabric collection, or is this from your stash?
