Sheer Laziness...

Good Afternoon everyone ! I can't believe we are at New Year's Eve 2013.  Ever since December 23rd, I have been the epitome of sheer laziness!  With the exception of normal day to day chores, I have done nothing but watch basketball and football and played Candy Crush Saga.  I don't know who created that game, but let's just say my girls now know the definition of "addicted". 

Not even a trip to the gym or a tennis match. I did "kwilt" one of my quilts I had made this year and I sort of cut out the makings of a modern quilt kit I bought earlier this year, but no sewing has been done.  Feels strange.... 

After all of my postings on quilt backs, I took my quilt off the frame and realized that I had left a little bit of humility on it with a big pucker right down the middle.  Even if you do everything you are supposed to do for your quilt back, inevitably this will happen..  Sigh.....  Anyway, I do have more extra wide quilt backs arriving and more coming in January.  I just can't wait!  I love the aqua dots.  No more piecing quilt backs for me.  Yippee!!!

My dream studio is coming together.  Before Christmas, the foundation and footings were poured and starting next week (weather permitting), the framing will begin.  I am expanding an existing room on the lower part of our house and hopefully by March or early April, I will be in my new studio.  I can't wait.  I guess that is all the rambling I have time for today!
