Looking Forward...

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I'm looking forward to this week - the weather is supposed to be really nice - perfect for knocking down walls!  If you have found me(Got Kwilts?) on Facebook, then you will see the progress pictures each day.  So excited!!!

Here are a couple more quilts I finished up last week.  This first one is by Pat.  Love these fabrics!  We used a design allover called Papillon with a Khaki thread by Glide and wool batting.  Love the depth the wool batting gives.

This next quilt is by Dorena.  Love the modern feel to this quilt.  This was made using the Quick Curve Ruler by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful.  A lot of you have told me you have projects lined up to make a quilt using her ruler.  I wish Gathering Fabric would host a class but I do know that the quilt shop in Issaquah(Gossypium) is hosting several classes - so check it out.  There are a few tricks you have to know to get comfortable with this ruler and a class would definitely make life a lot easier for your first quilt using this ruler.    On this quilt, I free motioned the ovals allover the quilt.  Dorena brought her own warm and natural batting.  Love it ! Check out the back - it looks just as cool as the front.  Nice work Dorena!!!

Have a great week!  Richla
