Dream wool batting and Sew Kind of Wonderful!

Good morning everyone!  Hope you have had a great week and have nice plans for the weekend!  Here are a couple of quilts I finished up this week.  I think they both turned out great!

This first one is by Elaine.  She made this in our Sew Kind of Wonderful(www.sewkindofwonderful.com)  class last year.  The pattern is called Urban Winter and I love the batiks she chose for the quilt.  Jenny Pedigo was an amazing instructor and helped us figure out how to sew curves using her Quick Curve Ruler.  We used a layer of Dream wool batting with a design all over called Too Much Bubbly with one of my extra wide backing fabrics and a pale yellow thread.  Love it!

This next quilt was made by Leslie for her husband.  We used a design allover called Geometric with blue thread and a layer of Dream wool batting.  Love how puffy it is!  And the fleece on the back is super soft!  Nice work Leslie!

Have a great weekend and a Happy Easter!  Richla
