A New Home...

Good afternoon everyone! We are off to Barcelona tomorrow - can't wait.  My daughters broke the wheels on my cart holding my extra wide fabric which prompted a search on my part on Craigslist to find a new home for my extra wide fabric.  I was so lucky to find this beautiful armoire.  It's funny where life takes you - I met another incredibly talented woman named Amada.  Turns out she has an Etsy site called overthetopstudios.etsy.com.  She is taking a break - but let me assure you.  Once she starts back up - you will have to check out her work.  This woman does stuff with paper that is AMAZING!  Her studio is awesome too!

Here is a couple of pictures with my armoire.  My extra wide fabric is really good quality, is 108 inches wide and priced from $7-$15/yard.  It's a great deal for those of you who don't want to piece your backing fabric.

On another note, I finished up a beautiful quilt that Lyn made.  We used a design allover called Brenda's tulips with a lilac colored thread and a layer of Dream cotton batting.  Love it!  Have a great afternoon and I'll post more when we get back after Labor day!  Take care, Richla
