Modern day of quilting...

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a great week!  My little one has been sick the past couple of days, so I managed to get quite a bit of quilting done.  It turned out that Thursday and Friday were my modern days as you will see in the coming pictures.  Makes me want to get in there and do some sewing this weekend.  Sigh - now just to find the time.

Take care,
Richla

This first quilt was made by Joy.  She found the fabrics up at Keepsake in Country Village.  I used a design allover called Modern curves(one of my faves) with a layer of Dream Wool batting and cream thread.  She also made the matching shams.  Love it!!

This next one is a work in progress.  It is a long giraffe giving her baby calf a lick.  Going to do some modern lines, bubbles, swirls and who knows what else.  It will be on the frame for a few days.  2 layers of batting:  Dream cotton on the bottom and Dream wool on top.    Can't wait to see it all finished.  Of course, when Judy picks it up, I understand there will be quite a few embellishments to attach.
