A Busy day...

Good evening everyone!  Hope you all had a great day!  Today I got to spend most of the day with my longarm trainer, Wanda, who lives in Kingston.  It was a great day!  She is really helping me to see quilting possibilities outside of the square, triangle, rectangle.  This is how I see your quilts and the first thing I look for when custom quilting.  Wanda is helping me break away from that and see other shapes that can be formed based on how you quilt.  Super fun!  Anyway, my assistant managed to get one quilt finished today for me and somehow I managed to get another one done this evening.

The first one is by Valli.  This is one of her first quilts.  We used a design allover called Whisper with wool batting and a golden beige thread.  The second one was made by Sherri's Mom.  We used wool batting, neutral thread and a design allover called Wild Mouse.  Don't you love the small red squares?  Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out.  Take care, Richla
