Lavendar Hill Farms

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a great day!  I finally finished Pat's quilt this afternoon.  I wish I had made this one.  I love the lavendar fabrics.  I hid a lot of treasures for Pat to find while she is working on her binding.  The sun is rising behind the big barn in the middle.  Butterflies have landed on the roofs on many of the barns.  I have snails wandering around, flowers, hearts, feathers and clover for the cows.  I used a big meandering feather in the outer border and lots of topstitching on the barns too.  I had a lot of fun working on this quilt.  Great job Pat! Hope you like the way it turned out!

The second one is by Sarah.  She made this quilt for her Dad who picked out all the fabrics.  Love the panels.  The scenes are wonderful!  We used a design allover called Luna with a dark gold thread.  Lovely Sarah!  I'll give you a call in the morning.  Take care, Richla

  1. I absolutely LOVE the lavender farm quilt. I had the experience of meeting a lady at Sea-Tac who was heading to market to promote her new fabric line. It was lavender-themed.

And I love the Luna panto design. It really shows off the asian-themed fabrics!
