Working on the Weekend!

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you are having a great weekend so far!  My little ones are still not feeling well and after watching a million Barbie movies, I decided there was a better way to use my time.  Soooo, I decided to do a couple of quilts.  The first one is by Anita.  Isn't this a cute Christmas quilt!  It reminds me that before I know it, it will be Halloween, Gobble Gobble and then Ho, Ho, Ho!  We used a design allover called Holly berries with wool batting and a golden mustardy yellow thread.

The second quilt is by Sharon.  Sharon - you should be teaching classes on how to piece.  My goodness your quilts are so flat and straight.  Nice work!  We used huge banana leaves in the outer border with a design inside called Tropical.  Cotton batting and plum thread.  So great to work on your beautiful quilts ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out!

And finally, for the rest of the day, I am going to try and finish working on this applique quilt and do the binding on my second Lone star  while watching another Barbie movie.  Who knows, I may even find time to Zumba and finish up the laundry!  Happy "Kwilting" everyone!!!
