My Sewing space is almost back to normal....

Oh how I missed my longarming and my sewing space!  We got back in our home late Saturday night.  It still smelled a little bit but I didn't care - it was good to be back home.  I left the windows open all day Sunday and had fans going and by the end of the day the smell was gone.  My new floors look fabulous!  I'm so glad I had the carpet taken out and the hardwoods extended.

I worked in my space all day Sunday and managed to get a few hours in today.  Here are a few of the quilts I've gotten done so far.  The first one is by Gigi.  A big beautiful batik quilt.  We used wool batting, navy blue thread and design allover called Batik b2b.  Amazing piecing by Gigi!

The second one is a wall hanging that I am working on.  I still need to add alot of beads and yarn to this quilt but at least now it is quilted.  I used Retro Hearts in the outer border, Wiggle weave allover in the middle and daisies, leaves and squiggly lines every else.

The next two are by Valli.  Valli is expecting and made these adorable baby quilts for her new bundle of joy.  The first one we used a design allover called Denali and the second one we used stars and loops.  Cotton batting on both and neutral thread.

Nice work ladies!  Remember:  If you bring a donation off the list below or on my Specials page for Pantry Packs, I will give you $10 off your quilting service. Have a great day!  Richla
