Oh, I have had my eye on this fabric line for a long time and it finally came through my door. The line is called Little Black Dress. Isn't it fabulous? Black, tan and grays.... The backing on this one is divine! I could just take that fabric, quilt it up straight off the bolt and lay it across my sofa. :) Sheila brought this beautiful quilt to me. We used a design allover called Batik with a tan thread. Sheila brought her own batting which is fabulous. It is a batting called Nature-fil by Fairfield batting. I am not a big fan of this manufacturer, but this Nature-fil feels better than Warm and Natural and Dream cotton. It is a blend of Rayon and cotton and is sooo soft and has a wonderful drape. I sent an inquiry out to the company today to send me samples. They carry it at JoAnn's and if you can get your hands on it, I would recomment you try it. Now Fairfield makes an 80/20 blend and other battings too that I am not a big fan of, but this Nature-fil is good stuff!
The second quilt is by Nancy. I love these French General fabrics. We used a design allover Flowers for Haley with wool batting and neutral thread. Nice work ladies! Hope you like the way they turned out. Take care, Richla
That Little Black Dress quilt is amazing!
