Chicks Jubilee Finished!

I have to say for the very first time, I did not want to go into my sewing studio and "kwilt".  It has been quite sad around here but I'm glad I forced myself up there.  This beautiful quilt left a wonderful smile on my face when I was finished.  Isn't it darling?  All of those cute little chicks!  This beautiful quilt was made by Joyce.  Lucky duck - she works at Keepsake Cottage in Bothell and this quilt will be featured as a BOM starting in April or May.  I had a lot of fun on this one and hid a lot of treasures for Joyce to find.  I think my favorite is the cobblestone road that the chicks are driving on and I love the sun shining down on the bunny in the lower right hand corner.  What do you think?  Have a great day!  Richla

  2. LOVE, this quilt and if I had not just done that Halloween one I would want to do this one!!! The quilting is wonderful Richla!! Loved hearing about your kitty! I know how hard it is to loose such a good friend! My daughter is moving to Tawain for 18 mo. and has a beautiful gray cat!! She is trying to find a place for her for that time, unfortunately I think she would do best with a single female, otherwise I would suggest you!! Dorena
