Good evening! Hope you all had a great day! Our dog Penny is expecting puppies any day now. They could come as early as Monday or as late as next Friday. We are soooo excited! Can't wait! In the meantime, I have been quilting away. Kathy made 3 flannel patchwork quilts as graduation gifts. It was hard to get good pictures of the quilting but each one had a different design and thread color. I think the best one that shows the quilting is the one with the dragon flies. It is called Ginko Garden. We used cotton batting on all three.
The next two are by Sheila. On the first one we used a design allover called Circus and the second one we used a design allover called Feather and Flower. Both of them had a pumpkin colored thread and wool batting. I had mentioned in a previous post that Gathering Fabric had these as kits but found out earlier today that they were sold out. If you are interested in these, you may want to call them first to see if they have made more kits. Love the Kaffe fabrics!
