Good Morning everyone! My husband has been out of town for two weeks and I have taken advantage of that by doing a lot of remodeling projects around the house. Carpet, closets, trim, paint - you name it - I have done it over the past two weeks. I am cutting it close - he gets home late tonight and the closets are not packed back up yet, but I am close! When he gets home everything will be shiny, clean and looking good - just the way he likes it! :)
I have been working on A Woodland Christmas by Joyce and am almost finished - we shall see if I can get it done today or Monday. It is going to be BOM at Keepsake and it is darling! Can't wait to post pictures!!!
To get us started, here are a few I have been working on. The first two here are by Sandy. The first one is an adorable sampler. She wanted to do a simple meander in between the blocks. I put butterflies in the cornerstones and a little applique work. Neutral thread and warm and natural batting. The second one we used a design allover called Splat with a pink thread by Glide and warm and natural batting. Look at the back - it's like a second quilt. Nice work!!!
This next one is by Sheila. She made two of these quilts. We used a design allover called Tapestry with a golden brown thread and wool batting. Love the Kaffe fabrics!
This next one is by Mary! We used a design allover called Going Circles with a mustard yellow thread and cotton batting. I wish it had photographed better, because the arrows look really cool on this quilt.
Nice work everyone ! Have a great weekend! Richla
