Credit Cards

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you have been enjoying our daily visits by Jack Frost!  Too bad a few more snowflakes haven't come down.....

I wanted to let you all know that I am in a quandary about accepting credit cards.  The fees for using a credit card are very nominal unless it is a rewards card - then the fees for me jump up to $10-$16 per transaction.  Quite hefty...  I am doing some research into this and for my volume, I am a little limited.  They are all telling me the same thing - we can get really low rates on cc's as long as they are not rewards cards.  Sewwwwwww.... if at all possible, paying by check is probably my preferred method right now but I will still continue to take cc's until I can come to a decision about what to do.

On an other note - my minky and wide back fabrics are starting to arrive - so excited!   I have had many of you ask about extra wide backing fabric and it makes sense for me to stock it.   I have more coming in but here are a couple pictures of the ones I have so far.  I'm going to do my best to keep the price/yard as low as possible since I don't have the overhead of a traditional quilt shop.  For my minky, the price per yard is $8.50 - $12.50 depending on the design and it is 60 inches wide.  The two 108 inch wide backings I have right now are $14.50/yard.  Most quilts only need 2- 2.5 yards so that is a great deal!  AND, you don't have to piece your back!

If you are interested, take a look when you pick up or drop off your quilts.  If you want to order online, just send me an email with the quantity and I can get it shipped to you.

Here are a few pictures of more quilts I have finished up.  On this first one, we used a design allover called Eternal Flame with cotton batting and neutral thread.  Love the Umbrellas!

This next quilt is by Joyce.  We used a design allover called Champagne with white thread by Glide and a double layer of cotton batting.  LOVE!

And this last one is by Diane.   We used a design allover called A Tisket A Tasket with a wine colored thread and a double layer of cotton batting.  I still have to do the binding and it will be finished too.

Here is a picture of the fabrics I have in stock so far....

These two Chevrons are extra wide - hot pink/white and red/white.

These are the minky's.  60 inches wide.  They are so soft!

Have a great day!  Richla
