Good Evening Everyone! Here are 2 more beautiful quilts! The first one is by Chris which is going to be a wedding present. We used a design allover called Seaweed with a chocolate brown thread and cotton batting. Look how different the fabrics are from the front to the back. It's like having 2 quilts in one.
The second one is by friend Rachel. I believe this is her first larger size quilt, although she is a great sewer! I got the kit for her at Christmas time down at Gathering fabric and told her if she got it pieced to ship it to me and I would get it quilted. I used a design which I have trying to get a bunch of you to try called Merrily Feathers. I scaled it up really big and I think it fills in the spaces really nice here. I used an Aqua thread on top and and orange sherbert thread on the back with wool batting. Really nice work ladies! Hope you like the way they turned out! Take care, Richla
