Can't believe it is Thursday....

Hi Everyone!  Hope you all had a great day!  The girls and I went to story time today at the Woodinville Library and read all about Giants.  It is so fun to watch them listen so intently.  We made it home and I managed to get 2 more quilts finished today.  The first one is by Dorena.  It is a beautiful Amish quilt.  We used big flowers in the outer border, Eve's leaf is in the small border and allover in the middle is A Tisket A Tasket.  Dorena chose a variegated thread and brought warm and natural batting.  I did some swirls and outlining around the applique and put flowers in the cornerstone blocks.

The second one is by Mary.  I love the batiks!  We used a design in the outer border called Anne's leaves with an allover in the middle called Wild Mouse.  There is flange on this quilt, so I stitched in the ditch all around it to help it lie flat.  We used wool batting and variegated thread.  Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out.  Take care, Richla
