A new site discovered....

Good evening everyone!  I have been working on New Year's resolutions in my head the past couple of days.  One of which was that I can't buy any more projects until I finish up some of the ones I have.  And then, Dorena comes to pick up her quilt today and tells me about Metropolitan Quilt Shop (http://www.metropolitanquilt.com/.)  Some of their patterns are just darling and so fresh! You will have to check them out!

Anyway, I got to work on two beautiful quilts today by 2 ladies who work at Keepsake Cottage in Bothell.  The first one is by Joyce.  I'm not sure if she is going to use this as a table topper or cut it up to make a project - but I just love the fabrics.  We used Sticky Buns allover with a neutral thread.  The second one is by Lisa.  Such a beautiful quilt!  We used a minty blue thread allover with a design called Christmas Paisley and cotton batting.  Nice work ladies!  Hope you like the way they turned out!  Take care, Richla

  1. I bought some scraps from Metropolitan Quilt shop at the Puyallup show a few weeks ago. They have some great modern patterns! The Eiffel Tower one is so neat to see in person.
