Good Morning everyone! I just have to get through today and then I have the weekend. Yeah! I never realized how much "kwilting" I got done after 5 and on weekends..... I did my best with my busy schedule but not as many quilts done as I would have liked this week. Here you go:
The first one is Mary's King size quilt that goes with her lovely shams. We used a design in the outer border and allover in the middle called Celtic Vines with Eve's leaf in the orange border. Wool batting and variegated thread, orange and dark green threads. There is alot going on with the fabrics, so it was hard to get good pictures of the quilting, but they turned out beautiful!
The second one is by Cathie. A very cute wall hanging she made for a couple that is getting married soon. We used one of my favorite border designs called Pumpkin vine in the outer border and then I stippled all around the applique in the middle. A double layer of cotton batting and a tan thread throughout.
The final one is by Lisa. An adorable quilt made for her daughter's friend. Aren't these fabrics cute?! We used a design allover called Van gogh with a light blue thread. Lisa brought her own warm and white batting and minky is on the back. Super soft!
Nice work ladies! Have a great weekend!
