Big quilts!

Good Morning!  I have been working on some really large quilts lately.  This first one is by Korina.  It is a modern day wedding ring quilt using a pattern by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful.  Korina brought Warm and White batting and we used a design allover called Modern Curves with White thread.  Gorgeous!

This second quilt is by Debra.  It is going to be a gift to the pastor's wife who is Irish.  We quilted shamrocks allover with a layer of Dream Wool batting and some of my Extra Wide Green backing.  I wish I had gotten better pictures - it is fabulous in person.  All of those little squares are about 1 inch in diameter.  Crazy piecing!!!

Dates have been set for 2 classes this fall with Jenny Pedigo, author and creator of the Quick Curve Ruler.  Saturday, September 27th from 10-3 using the Metro Hoops pattern and Thursday, November 20th from 10-2 using either Urban Winter or Urban Holiday.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Jenny and learn all of her tips and tricks for cutting, squaring up and assembly of her wonderful quilts.  Email me at gotkwilts@comcast.net for more details.
